Air Conditioners
A fully functional air conditioner can be an important part of a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We offer repair services for all types of air conditioners. We will ask you to show us what is or isn’t happening and then troubleshoot the system to find the problem. We will explain what we find and our recommendation for getting the system fully functional again. With your approval, we will then complete the repair if possible. We may need to order parts and make a second trip.
Furnaces
Travelling in the cooler Spring and Fall seasons and even through the Winter can be a great time away. However, a furnace that isn’t working properly can definitely spoil the experience. We will track down the problem, let you know what is happening, and with your approval we will make the repair. Usually, we have the parts on our truck and can make the repair immediately. On occasion we may need to order parts and make a second trip to complete the repair.
Refrigerator
When your refrigerator isn’t working, it can spoil not only your food, but also your fun. We work on all types of refrigerators including gas or gas/electric absorption type refrigerators, residential refrigerators, and 12volt refrigerators.
Water Heater
There is nothing like a cold shower in the morning. Well, maybe not. If your water heater isn’t doing its job, we can help get it going again.
Slides
Slides add a lot of space to an RV and make it much more comfortable to live in. However, if they cause a problem, it is usually at a critical time trying to get set up or pack up to leave. We can help find the problem. If need to get moving and don’t have time for us to fix it, we can usually get the slide either extended or retracted so that you can get on with your trip and know what you need to deal with later
Leveling System
When leveling systems cause a problem, it is usually at the most inconvenient time. We can either fix it, or if time is an issue, we can at least get them retracted to get you on your way.
Electrical
Electrical issues can impact just about everything in your RV. We can diagnose and repair both the 12-volt system that operates most of the “behind-the-scenes” functions of your RV and the 120-volt household electric that you use every day.
Plumbing
Water belongs in your water pipes, not on the floor of your RV. We can get the leak stopped quickly so that you can get on with enjoying your trip.
Winterization
When it’s time to put your RV away for the year you want to be sure that it is going to be ready to go next year. We can winterize your RV so that when you are ready to go next year, you don’t have to worry about repairing frozen water lines. If you are getting ready to go this year, we can de-winterize your RV quickly.
Owner Education
When you buy an RV, most dealers will show you how to operate the various systems and components of your RV. However, that is a lot of information coming at you at a fast pace. If you would like a slower, more thorough explanation of using your RV, we can help.
RV Helping Hands services the “housing” area of your RV. We do not work on the “automotive” parts such as brakes, suspension, wheels, axles, engine, etc.
